New Year, New You!
Firstly, Happy New Year, wishing you a very happy 2017. Whatever your goals are for 2017 we hope that there are some health aims in there. Hopefully this website will be able to provide you with some information and resources on simple changes that you can make to your lifestyle to improve your overall health. Whether that be; quitting smoking, losing a few pounds, cutting down on alcohol – we hope we can provide you lots of helpful information.
In January our health campaigns will focus on; Dry January and Cervical Cancer Prevention Week.
Each year Alcohol Concern runs Dry January. For just one month of the year without a drink people who have completed Dry January feel a lot better with:
79% of people saying they saved money
62% of people slept better
49% lost weight
